OLA 6th Taster Day – September & December 2022

The day is open to any year 11 pupils who are interested in studying in OLA 6th for September 20232.  Students will be immersed in school life for a whole day, and will gain a true experience of OLA 6th.

  • Students are not required to wear school uniform, but they are expected to wear clothes that are smart and business-like.
  • There will be a talk on OLA 6th life and expectations.
  • There will be a programme of ‘taster lessons’ where pupils can sample a Sixth Form lesson in subjects in which they are interested.
  • Pupils will be able to ‘sign out’ during lunchtime and may leave the School site if they wish. This is a privilege which is granted to our Sixth Form. A hot lunch can be provided for those who wish to stay on site.

In the afternoon, students may join the Lower Sixth Games lessons. A PE kit will be required.

Timings are 8.20am arrival to 4pm departure.
