Teacher of English & Media (September 2025)

Overview

We seek a well-qualified and inspirational professional to teach English and Media at all levels up to, and including, A Level/BTEC, to all year groups. At GCSE, pupils study Edexcel IGCSE English language and English Literature, and OLA Sixth students study English Literature Edexcel 9ET0. A Level 3 Extended Certificate in Creative Digital Media is also offered in Sixth Form and this runs over two years. 

All pupils at OLA study English in Years 7, 8 and 9, and English Language and English Literature in Years 10 and 11. Pupils are taught in small groups throughout the school, and A-level English is popular. 

We welcome applications from both experienced candidates and ECTs.
