Experience Days & Taster Days

Making the right decision on the best school for your child is a very important issue for parents. To help, OLA provides Experience Days and Taster Days for children and their parents to experience what a school day at OLA is all about.

At an OLA Year 5 Experience Day, on a Saturday, children can try a wide range of activities, meet our teachers and make new friends.  We provide a Year 5 Experience Day once a year, in March for Year 5 children considering entry into Year 7 in our Senior School.

At an OLA Taster Day, on a normal school day, children can join in on actual classes, meet the teachers and make new friends, to find out what a day in the life of an OLA pupil is really like. We provide Taster Days for Years 2 and 3 children considering entry into Year 3 and 4 at OLA, as well as any other year at any time.

Individual Meetings

If our Open Morning/Evening, dates/times are not convenient for you a private visit can be arranged.

In the Lower School visits include a guided tour of the school by Mrs Smales Lower School Coordinator, and a follow-up meeting with her to address any queries or questions that may arise.

In the Senior School, an individual visit to the school involves a tour of the school with the Admissions Team and then some time spent with The Head, Mr Gibbons.

For OLA 6th, a visit includes a guided tour of the school with the Admissions Team and then some time spent with our Head of OLA 6th or our Head of Ola.

The tour and the subsequent meeting take approximately one hour. Individual visits can normally be arranged any day during term time.
